With over 25 years of dedicated experience as a Registered Nurse, Chief Clinical Officer Jennifer Hawkins brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her diverse background in pediatrics, surgery, administration, and home health has honed her skills and shaped her passion for caregiving. Jennifer is deeply committed to enhancing the physical and mental well-being of her patients, providing personalized care that caters to their individual needs.
As an integral member of Silver Leaf's executive team, Jennifer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and proper medical care of the residents. Collaborating closely with healthcare professionals, nurses, and caregivers, she meticulously develops and implements customized care plans for each resident, reflecting her dedication to their holistic welfare.
A native of north Texas, Jennifer's roots trace back to Sherman, TX. Currently, she resides in Trenton with her husband and two daughters. Beyond her professional commitments, Jennifer actively contributes to her community by serving as the treasurer on the Economic Development Council for the City of Trenton.
During her free time, Jennifer coaches her daughters' sports teams, travels, reads, and binge watches crime documentaries. These varied interests reflect her vibrant approach to life, mirroring the passion she brings to her role as Chief Clinical Officer at Silver Leaf.
Executive Director Tamara White, LVN
Tamara's journey into the realm of healthcare began in her home state of Texas, where she was born and raised. In 2008, she earned her nursing degree from Kingwood Community College, laying the foundation for a fulfilling career dedicated to caring for others. Tamara's passion for working with seniors has been a driving force throughout her professional life.
The majority of Tamara's nursing career has been in the specialized field of dialysis, where she served in multifaceted roles such as a preceptor, med nurse, and lead cannulator. Her expertise expanded further as she became cross-trained in peritoneal dialysis, showcasing her versatility and commitment to continuous learning in the medical field.
A significant turning point in Tamara's career occurred when her beloved grandmother succumbed to dementia. This deeply personal experience sparked Tamara's interest in memory care, prompting her to explore this vital aspect of senior healthcare. In 2020, she made a career shift to assisted living, taking on the role of Director of Resident Services at the Cottage of Chapel Creek in Frisco. This change allowed her to channel her passion and expertise into creating a nurturing and supportive environment for seniors, particularly those facing memory-related challenges.
Beyond her profession, Tamara enjoys quality time with her daughters, traveling, attending comedy shows and stage plays, and basketball. Whether cheering on her favorite team or shooting some hoops herself, basketball has been an integral part of her identity, and she considers it her first love!
Chief Community Advocate Kathleen Storey
Kathleen's impressive track record spans over a decade, making her a seasoned senior living expert. With a wealth of experience, she has consistently demonstrated her high-energy leadership and innovative strategies, enabling her to not only meet but exceed sales and marketing targets in every role she undertakes.
During her tenure at Harbor Retirement, Kathleen's exceptional performance led to swift promotions, transitioning from a Sales Manager to the prestigious position of Executive Director within a remarkably short span of time. Her journey continued at Integrated Senior Living, where she assumed the role of Regional Marketing Director, overseeing multiple high-performing local sales teams.
Hailing from the charming state of South Carolina, Kathleen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the esteemed University of South Carolina. Now, she calls Celina, TX home, where she resides with her supportive husband and two children. Her dedication and passion for senior living communities drive her, and she eagerly anticipates leveraging her expertise to contribute to the continued growth of Silver Leaf Assisted Living & Memory Care. Kathleen's presence brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record, making her an invaluable asset to any team she joins.
Activities Director Deborah Tucker
Inspired by the compassionate care her mother received while in hospice for two years, Deborah embarked on a career change over eight years ago. She entered the assisted living industry, driven by her unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors. For Deborah, the passion she feels for caring for the elderly knows no bounds. She firmly believes that a diverse range of activities is key to fostering a fulfilling and thriving existence in one's later years.
Having earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Keiser University, Deborah brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Currently residing in Wylie, TX, with her husband and cherished dog, she has found her calling at Silver Leaf Assisted Living & Memory Care. She dedicates herself to ensuring that seniors can live vibrant and meaningful lives, surrounded by warmth and understanding.

Chef / Culinary Manager Michelle Davis
Michelle Davis is a dedicated culinary professional with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Her passion lies in utilizing creativity to curate distinctive recipes, reimagine traditional dishes, and demonstrate her culinary expertise. Despite initially pursuing business studies in college, Michelle's path led her to discover her true calling in culinary art management, and she graduated as a certified chef.
Among her noteworthy accomplishments, Michelle proudly secured 15th place in the 2021 World Food Championship, surpassing 110 other competitors. Furthermore, she completed a rigorous program in Fine Arts and Culinary Pastry Design at DCCCD College and exclusive training from the esteemed Wilton Cake Company.
At Silver Leaf, Michelle finds fulfillment in serving the elderly and contributing to the creation of a comforting, home-like atmosphere for our residents. She is deeply committed to elevating the dining experience for seniors, ensuring they receive nourishing and flavorful cuisine tailored to their needs.
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Michelle grew up in a military family as her father served in the Air Force. She has called Dallas home for the past 38 years and enjoys watching movies and brainstorming innovative culinary concepts to delight diners. For Michelle, cooking isn't just a job—it's her life.
